Jobs in agriculture can be physically demanding. These jobs often require employees to lift, push, pull, grip, reach, bend, crouch, and sit and stand for long duration. Exposure to Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) hazards such as awkward and fixed posture, force, repetition, and vibration can result in injuries.
This session will provide an opportunity to discuss ergonomics in agriculture, including the challenges, MSD hazards and controls using examples from the sector. Join us to share strategies for preventing injuries.
Employees should not hurt from their work in agriculture!
