Do you miss networking with the business community?
ROUND 2 Old School Networking Program is about to begin.
Covid-19 has changed things. Having in-person networking events has been put on hold in the name of safety.
The Chamber would like to help reconnect you with others in the business community, but we need to dial it back Old School to the days when relationships were developed over the phone (or Zoom).
Since meeting in-person is not recommended, you can meet by telephone or Zoom.
Register now be added to the list of those who would like to make one-on-one connections with others in the business community.
We will collect a list of those who want to participate and schedule you to meet one person per week, ensuring that you get to meet with every person who signs up. You will be sent a notice of the schedule once it is finalized and it will be up to you, and your assigned networking partner, to decide date/time each week and if it will be by phone or Zoom.
Depending on how many sign up will determine how many weeks this program runs for.
This is an excellent way to get to know other people in your business community in a safe way.
Here's what some of our participants from Round 1 said about the program:
"I was pleasantly surprised to find I had valuable discussions with everyone I connected with despite different industries and businesses. It goes to show you, we are always stronger with community support and connections."
"It was not lost on us that these one-on-one conversations were so much more personal and informative than say at a Chamber meeting or other networking event." Terry Allison, Santa's Muskoka Ridge campground
