Job Overview: As a Garden Maintenance and Lawn Care Team Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our clients' lawns and gardens. This role involves a variety of tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and general garden upkeep. Supervision of crew members is a key aspect of this position and candidates can expect to oversee small teams of 2-4. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong inter-personal skills. Team Leads should have a wealth of experience in gardening and lawn maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lawn Care: Mow, edge, and trim lawns to ensure a neat and tidy appearance. Apply fertilizers, and other lawn treatments as needed.
• Garden Maintenance: Weed, mulch, prune, and plant flowers, shrubs, and trees. Ensure plants are healthy and vibrant through proper watering and care.
• Seasonal Tasks: Perform tasks such as leaf removal, seasonal planting, and preparation of landscapes for changing weather conditions.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate lawn care equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, concerns, and requests in a professional manner.
• Team Management: Oversee and work closely with other crew members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Administrative: Complete all required paperwork including timesheets, work orders, product receipts and employee reviews.

• Experience in lawn care, landscaping, and garden maintenance (Min. 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of plants, lawn care techniques, and garden tools.
• Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid Class G driver’s license (With a clean driving abstract).
• Experience supervising others.
